This flight takes you to the legendary Chilkoot and White passes, ancient Chilkat trade routes into the interior. The passes became world famous when thousands of 19th-century gold seekers were forced to pack their tons of supplies from Alaska into Canada up the steep slopes. Next we’ll fly over Lake Bennett, where those stampeders stopped to fashion crude boats for the journey downriver. Then we’ll fly along the historic White Pass Railway to Tagish Lake where we will land for lunch.
